I've been a nurse for 50 years and I'm very opinionated about medical staff. I know things have changed a lot over the years, but I was very impressed with this physician. She was thorough and professional and answered all of my questions and explained everything. I was very pleased with the visit.

Dr Mitra is absolutely the perfect doctor for me! She listened, explained everything to me, was thorough, helpful, supportive, and insightful. Overall I am so happy I found her! Give her an A+!

Everyone was vety nice

Front office staff was a little loud with their personal conversations, heard some cursing when sitting in the lobby waiting to be called back. Maybe just ask them to keep their voices down. Also saw someone applying their make-up when we walked by. I also heard some telephone calls, and the person answering the phone was very respectful and courteous.

The staff and Dr Mitra were extremely professional

I went to Dr. Mitra as a second opinion, she was so attentive, explained everything, answered all my questions and concerns. I actually felt heard. I was very happy with her help and will definitely be recommending her.

As a new patient for this doctor. She lacked courtesy for the patient. Not respectfull enough to listen to patient. I wanted to know the cause of Vertigo. She seemed to be dismissive of my concern. And appeared to hurry out of my room.

My son had an appointment with this provider yesterday, and we left feeling shocked and deeply upset by the experience. We were not expecting to be treated in such a dismissive and unprofessional manner. Throughout the visit, we felt unheard and uncomfortable, and the overall interaction did not reflect the level of care and respect we believe patients and families deserve. This experience was extremely disappointing and concerning for us as parents. My son is only 3 years old, and unfortunately, the provider showed very little patience during the visit. There were also comments made that we felt were inaccurate and did not reflect our child or the situation appropriately. Although my son did not have an urgent medical need, we still came in expecting a thorough and proper evaluation, as any parent would. Instead, we felt dismissed, unheard, and uncomfortable throughout the appointment. The overall interaction did not reflect the level of care, professionalism, and respect that patients-especially young children-and their families deserve. This experience was extremely disappointing and concerning for us as parents.

provider was running behind with appoint schedules and RUSHED my available appointment time. I assume running behind schedule trying to catch up with appointment schedules and rushing mine where I both had to wait before starting and rushed at the end so provider could get to catch up to the next scheduled appointment. So I could not get enough questions answered. I had submitted a MRI ear test and could not discuss the results due to limited time. Left questions with staff assistant to call me with answers to questions. Have not heard back yet via phone call.

The computers were down. We had to wait because of this 20 minutes and the Doctor was limited in what she could do. Didn't you get improved computer security because of the last hack? Or was this not a hack but just a break down of the system?

very caring and tenitive dr and nurses

I just wanted to say that Dr. Mitra is probably one of the best doctors that I've ever seen at PIH. She's so good at explaining and she's so knowledgeable in what she does. I brought my son to her because I was feeling like he wasn't getting the appropriate level of treatment at the urgent care facility and in fact, she's been able to resolve his issue nearly immediately. So just once again, I just wanted to say how much I respect and trust her as a doctor. Thank you.

Your personnel is excellent. Your appointment times are terrible. The time we have to wait to get an appointment is horrendous. And that makes you an unfavorable hospital or medical center. Dr. Mitra is a very nice doctor, but my problem was not resolved and the neurologist kind of dismissed me, so she did more than the neurologist. And I hope her referral to therapy helps a little bit, but I'm not very sure that I have received the best help on this particular problem, which was my vertical. It's been three months and nothing has been resolved.

MD and assistant are great

I had a great experience with the doctor, but had to wait 45 minutes beyond my appointment time to see her. Also, I arrive shortly before my appointment at noon and there was only one person on reception, who was on the phone, so it took extra time to check in.

Dr. Mitra was attentive and professional. Explained her conclusions from the examination and her recommendations for treatment. I'm hopeful that the results will be quick and very positive. See her again in two weeks.

My ENT doctor was amazing. I wish I could say the same about the staff. I found them rude and unfriendly. I also did not like the fact that I have to pay for parking. That is ridiculous.

It seems that it is several months before an appointment with any PIH physician can be scheduled. If one needs to see a physician sooner one is told to go to urgent care. Get more physicians on your staff to prevent a 2 to 3 month wait.

The medication you prescribed for me wasn't filled at the pharmacy due to lack of coverage, and the therapies weren't accepted due to the type of insurance I had.

My phone doesn't have a 10. If I try and push 10, it's like pushing 1. You get wrong answers. There's a lot of wrong answers on this survey. Number 2, you should have yes as 1 and no as 2. You got it backwards from the way everybody else does it. Let's fix the system.

Outstanding visit to this dr

Dr. Mitra is absolutely one of the best doctors at PIH. I've been dissatisfied lately with doctors at PIH and she helped to gained my confidence back. I've had my issue for four months and Dr. Mitra nailed it! On the negative side, it took me about 5-6 weeks to get an appointment with her which isn't her fault. It took weeks to get x-rays and other tests out of radiology. I was worried that by the time my appointment came, my issue would have been resolved by itself until it comes back like it did this time. I had the same issue last July and it lasted three months. Are you listening PIH?

I walked away feeling I didn't get help to get better. The answers didnt make sense. I won't be back.

We had a great experience with this provider. The only thing I would complain about is the wait time. Our appt was scheduled for 1040 and we weren't seen until after 11

Dr Mitra walked in the room where I was waiting as I was told by MA I would be going to another room. Dr Mitra walks in and says follow me, did not introduce herself, did not say hello. I walked into the room and said "hello doctor". Dr Mitra asked a few questions then said you are going to hear a loud sound. She started to pry into my left ear, I was nervous, clenching my hands, slightly moving. She showed me a small amount of wax removed and tried again and again I clenched my hands and moved. She decided to stop and said she would call my Pharmacy with RX. RX was over the counter med. And I purchased. I was not satisfied with her. I say she was rushed, no compassion, not respectful. She never explained how or what she was going to do. I was disappointed with myself for not speaking up as this short quick visit cost me $15.00! I do have a f/u with which I will do if the Debrox Ear was removal does not work.

Dr Mitra definitely valued my thoughts as a parent first and foremost. She didn't rush into saying surgery was necessary or anything. I felt very comfortable with her care. She was also very positive and supportive of the life style im choosing and creating for my family and children. The office staff were outstanding as well. They provided my children with numerous stickers, were very kind, and helpful opening the doors for my stroller. I was very happy with the whole experience. My only complaint would be parking payment. I was only there for 35 minutes, and the first 30 minutes of parking are free, so I had to pay $5 for the extra 5 minutes I was there. Honestly, the first hour should be free. Thank you.
