Our appointment was at the end of the day when there were no other patients after us. The doctor was able to spend far more time with us and provide more in depth information than usual. This was a welcomed surprise. The more common experience has been a quick visit, in and out, because the doctor is usually behind and needs to get to the next patient. All visits should be like our last visit, ideally.

Hi, the last question, I pressed three only because by recommending him, he's gonna have more patients and it's hard enough for us now to get appointments. So it's even gonna make it harder, but he is an excellent doctor. I highly recommend him. But again, it's the problem that I think the doctors at PIH are overwhelmed because it takes so long to see a doctor at PIH. So that's my answer to number three. My wife and I are 71 years old, and we've been going to PIH since the 80's. Dr. Oang has been our primary care doctor for 25 years. Unfortunately, my wife and I have had more than our share of medical problems. Dr. Oang has been there to diagnose our problems and guide us through our treatments. He has an amazing knowledge of all things medical, including drug related interactions or problems. He has correctly diagnosed medical problems with us that top specialists at the best teaching hospitals here in Ca. didn't see. My wife and I have complete trust in Dr. Oang. Doctor Oang is a one of a kind man and doctor. He cares deeply for his patients. He is very thorough and professional. My wife and I trust him one hundred percent for our care. We drive two hours plus depending on traffic one way just to see him. It is well worth the drive to know you have, in my opinion, one of the best doctors in Southern California. I arrived half an hour early and he saw me five minutes after I arrived! We don't know what we will do if and when he retires. He is irreplaceable! He is not only a great doctor but a very good man. Each year he goes to Cambodia and offers his services for free to people who would probably not have any health care if not for him and the other doctors who go with him. We have been patients of him for about twenty years and we absolutely love this man!!
