Well, my name is (PHI removed), and the reason I'm not happy with yesterday's visit is because my appointment was at 10:15. I arrived early, and the young secretary in the office told me no, my appointment was at 9:15, even though it was written on the paper as 10:15. And there I was, waiting for over an hour. When they finally took me to the second floor where the doctor is, I sat there waiting until I got up, forced my way into the office, and explained why I was outside. The young woman who finally saw me inside said, "They just told us downstairs that you were late and to see you whenever we could." I said, "But that wasn't the reason. I arrived early for my appointment at the correct time; it was just the young woman downstairs who made a mistake writing down the time." That's why I'm not happy.

I'm very satisfied with this for my husband. He will speak English, but I can hear a little bit. Thank you for everything.

Dr Peiris took the time to explain answers to my questions in language that was understandable to a non medical person. He provided status of eyes and percentages of possibilities that can occur. Staff at the eyeglass counter were extremely helpful in fixing my bent eyeglass frames.

It's taking longer to see a specialist once the referral is approved. Took over 3 to 4 months to see the specialist.

I believe that the assistant that is helping in the office with the patients themselves is rather rude and did not have any patience when asking me to get closer or open my eyes. I think it was extremely rude on her behalf. And I believe that there is improvement to be made there.

The office staff seemed overtimed and rushed. My doctor was fine. There was a lot of waiting.

Long time between drops in eyes before I saw to the Dr.

The only real issue is that my chart wasn't put where it needed to be when I checked in, so I sat for over an hour waiting. When I finally asked about the amount of time, they took me back quickly and made sure to prioritize me so I wasn't late picking up my child from school. But no one planned to tell me they forgot about me; no one was planning on being honest about why I sat there for an extra hour. I find that the most distressing. The actual doctor is great, and I do recommend him.

I need an explanation of exactly what's wrong with both my eyes.

PIH has always been good to me. Only issue ever had was appointments seldom scheduled in a timely manner. My dermatologist was the worst I've ever seen, it was scheduled nine months out to look at suspicious moles on back. Really disappointed in that.

I was seen immediately, from the receptionist (very friendly), (name removed) the nurse was very attentive and showed interest in my symptoms and history, the Dr. was very attentive and concerned about my symptoms and situation.

My appt was at 245, I was asked to be 15mins early with a driver and I did. At 240pm, I was called back, started eye exam and was told the doctor is running behind. He was on his 115pm appt and has an appt EVERY 15mins. 7ppl behind? No courtesy call from the office. Me and my driver were on PTO from work. The lack of common courtesy was astonishing and if I wanted to reschedule b/c of the DOC fault, no appt was available til late Nov. I can't believe PIH would treat their patients like this. And then when I finally saw the doc around 410pm he rushed me and was done with me in 5mins. BIGGEST WASTE OF TIME!

Trying to make an appointment with my provider was extremely almost impossible. The wait is months and months in advance. Also, the office staff could be a lot friendlier and the nursing staff could be more friendly as well. Thank you.

Dr. Peiris and his Assistant (name removed) were very kind to me, being a first time patient to their office. They spent a long time with me listening to my prior history and answering my questions. I appreciate their patience with me, as I was nervous with the tests results being I hadn't seen an eye doctor in two years. I look forward (insurance permitting!) to having Dr. Peiris as my Ophthalmologist.

For a repeat condition, I was able to gain the Rx for ointment to minimize the discomfort. I'm a happy camper.

This is serious and I'm serious, I will change insurances if no follow ups. It's simple, Southern Eye Care people. USED to do this. If you are that busy you can't follow up, guess you don't need me as a patient. Maybe. PIH doesn't need me at all. ???? Time will tell.

Usually, I just a wait a few minutes to be called in. Yesterday, I waited a linger, maybe 15 minutes. Not too bad. But, usually, I really never have to wait to be called. I am extremely satisfied with dr. & staff.

I felt informed about the risk for the upcoming laser procedure. I wish you had sent me a survey for Dr (name removed) I was not well informed before cataract surgery last year. My right eye cataract surgery was unsuccessful. I regret having cataract surgery. Dr (name removed) never listened to my concerns and frustration about blurry vision or the veil, that I could not see clearly, after the surgery. She insisted the Retna specialist to give me injections. But never addressed MY Concerns. My Retna specialist did not agree with her about giving my eye injections. My Retna specialist Dr (name removed) was caring and listened to my concerns. I would NOT recommend Dr (name removed) to any patient. Thank you for reading.

Very nice and professional

Last Friday's appt was for 3:30. I walked out close to 6 pm. Not complaining; the waiting room was packed, I was in no hurry, and I know the specific procedure I was there for takes several steps. So it's always a long appt. I felt bad for the techs, and the front desk people, but no one complained. They made me feel like they were happy to be there for me. Even Dr. Peiris was gracious enough to answer all my questions. This was my 5th or 6th appt with him, and I feel we are getting to know each other. He is caring and compassionate; he told me he would recommend his own mother have this procedure, and that warmed my heart. Much as I dislike it, it is working to improve my vision.

I was extremely grateful to receive an appointment for the same day. I have been dealing with an eye infection that will not go away for a month. Being able to secure a same day visit was crucial. Now I'm scheduled for a procedure to remove the stye as long as the insurance approves it. Thank you!

I was seen 2 hours after scheduled appointment. The receptionist offered me to reschedule appointment ay first then said i would have towait another hour. 15 minutes was spwnt with doctor after waiting 2 hours.

Yes, I was an hour early to my appointment and they took me in right away. Well, they weren't very busy, but they still took me in. I thought I would have to wait until my appointment time because I was the first time there, so I left early. And so I thought that was very, very, very nice that they went ahead and got me in and out. I was in and out in no time. So I was really pleased with that. Okay. And I love Dr. Timothy. He was very good. Okay. Bye-bye.

Dr. Timothy Peiris was very thorough and had great bedside manners. He did a thorough assessment and answered questions appropriately. Recommendations for office management to modify the waiting room. This is the room after the initial exam by the tech and before seeing the physician. There are 4 chairs for patients in a room with equipment and supplies. It doesn't seem welcoming, and it does not have enough space. Considering it is flu and covid season, it would be most beneficial to have a bigger room or send the patients back into the initial waiting area. Thank you!
