It's very hard to make an appointment with the doctors at this office. The scheduling isn't until six months. And I mean, it just takes forever to get in.

This provider took the time to listen to me and to look at my lab and go through everything with me. I didn't feel like I was in a drive-thru with other doctors. I have felt that way when it comes to endocrinology. But he took his time. I'm very grateful. Thank you.

Hi, my name is (PHI removed), and I do appreciate the Presbyterian Hospital in Whittier. I find that the medical staff, I feel that they're very conscientious when they talk, where they really want to help you and make sure that you understand what they are saying and they show patience. That's what I want to say. I think it's a very good group. I've been to other facilities in a lifetime. I am an elderly senior, but I think Presbyterian has them all beat. The Dr was very patient with me regarding my Blood Work results. He explained everything clearly and was very knowledgeable with my medical concern.

Ordinarily I see the M.D. in the endocrinologist's office, but on this particular day, I saw his Physician's Assistant (P.A.). This young man was very knowledgeable, professional and courteous. He listened carefully to my condition and after thoroughly examining my online records, provided a solid recommendation. He also gave me some counseling as to what my blood glucose numbers should be, both fasting and after meals. I was very impressed with this P.A. even though he is relatively new to the endocrinology practice at PIH Health. I would definitely be willing to see him again if need be.

The PA, Tommy, seems like a good guy, but we'd never met him before. We were never told we wouldn't be seeing Dr. (name removed) anymore. We don't know how much he knows about the medical history. Before switching a patient to see only the PA, you have to introduce them and make them feel comfortable.

I have seen a lot of NP over the years. He was one of the best. He actually seemed like he cared and made me feel confident in his care provided.

i wasn't expecting changes like this because i never knew this doctor. this is the first time i've seen him and he doesn't seem to know what i have been doing. he just seems to want to make changes and not consult my primary doctor.

This was the first time l saw this physician and l was impressed by him. He was very approachable, listened to my reason for being there, made you feel that you weren't being rushed. He explained what test and labs he was ordering for me. All in all l think this was one of the most best consults l have had lately.
