Vinh Trang MD is a board-certified urologist who has been in practice since 2012. He specializes in the treatment of Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH), kidney stones, erectile dysfunction, male hypogonadism and voiding dysfunction. He has expertise in the InterStim sacral neuromodulation treatment for bladder control. Dr. Trang also treats cancers of the genitourinary tract, including prostate, kidney, bladder, and testicle with training in Da Vinci robotic surgery, as well as other minimally invasive procedures including the no scalpel vasectomy in the office. 

Dr. Trang enjoys practicing general urology and taking great care of his patients. In his personal time, he loves to travel abroad and experience all cultures of the world.

The staff and doctors are very professional! But definitely, Pih Hospital in Downey is very clean and modern. It's great to be able to go there compared to other clinics in other cities. I feel very fortunate. Thank you for everything!

Mostly just trying to get a hold of him, leaving too many messages and nobody responding, and have to go in there and talk to someone personally. But the doctor, the provider is excellent. It's just getting a hold of him, I guess, with staff. Thank you.

Yeah, initially trying to make the appointment, it was like over almost a month and a half, two months out. But then when I explained my situation, that it was kind of urgent about the prescription for renewing my catheters, they called me back and scheduled it for two days later. So that was very impressive. That was very great. The only other ?

The consultation went very well, but I would have liked to have the prostate tests done a little sooner, because the appointment was scheduled for a long time and I had been feeling a bit inflamed. Thank you. That's all.

She explained her findings very thoroughly and informed me of recommendations she would provide Dr (name removed) for his final decision on additional medication. Yes, I was definitely, definitely really, really grateful for all the things they did for me, the whole office from starting to ending, to ending with the receptionist, to starting with the receptionist and talking to a doctor. It was my first visit to a specialist, in this case a urologist, after experiencing urethral bleeding or blood in my urine for five days last October. The experience was good; the doctor was helpful with the interpretation, and my questions were heard and answered within a reasonable range for me. I hope to see the specialist again after he has ordered the tests and examinations so he can determine the diagnosis and prescribe the appropriate treatment.

All of the people that I dealt with were extremely professional and excellent. Dr. Trang was great. He was very dry and to the point and as a matter of fact, and I like that in a doctor, he knows what's going on. And his staff was very courteous and kind and very helpful. They're wonderful people. I had a kidney stone removed by surgery, and I had a lot of other questions, what causes them, what I can do to avoid. He's a very good surgeon, but he wasn't, I don't think, as helpful as he could have been. Maybe he could have given me a printed sheet, information like that is helpful to a senior, with what to do and not to do. I'm still a little unsure what I should be eating But thank you, thank you for your help.

They should pay more attention to us because when we say we are sick, it feels like they don't quite understand us. It would be advisable for them to give us more attention so that they can help us heal, especially considering the methods they have.
