Vinh Trang MD is a board-certified urologist who has been in practice since 2012. He specializes in the treatment of Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH), kidney stones, erectile dysfunction, male hypogonadism and voiding dysfunction. He has expertise in the InterStim sacral neuromodulation treatment for bladder control. Dr. Trang also treats cancers of the genitourinary tract, including prostate, kidney, bladder, and testicle with training in Da Vinci robotic surgery, as well as other minimally invasive procedures including the no scalpel vasectomy in the office. 

Dr. Trang enjoys practicing general urology and taking great care of his patients. In his personal time, he loves to travel abroad and experience all cultures of the world.

It was my first visit to a specialist, in this case a urologist, after experiencing urethral bleeding or blood in my urine for five days last October. The experience was good; the doctor was helpful with the interpretation, and my questions were heard and answered within a reasonable range for me. I hope to see the specialist again after he has ordered the tests and examinations so he can determine the diagnosis and prescribe the appropriate treatment.

All of the people that I dealt with were extremely professional and excellent. Dr. Trang was great. He was very dry and to the point and as a matter of fact, and I like that in a doctor, he knows what's going on. And his staff was very courteous and kind and very helpful. They're wonderful people. I had a kidney stone removed by surgery, and I had a lot of other questions, what causes them, what I can do to avoid. He's a very good surgeon, but he wasn't, I don't think, as helpful as he could have been. Maybe he could have given me a printed sheet, information like that is helpful to a senior, with what to do and not to do. I'm still a little unsure what I should be eating But thank you, thank you for your help.

Doctor Trang has been one of my team doctors about two years. He has been the most caring practitioner I have met in years. The provider was very knowledgeable, however, he seemed very rushed. It was less than a 10-minute consultation, which is okay, but when I was talking, he kept interrupting, and if I asked a question, he would just repeat what I said, which isn't that great, considering that I'm going to be having an operation with him.

Dr. Trang is very capable. I trusted him with my surgery, but I always have more questions than we have time for to ask. We talked a little bit about kidney stone foods to avoid, but he said the sample that he removed was lost after the cyber attack. I would like to know if the stone was oxalate or calcium, because that will affect what I eat. Thank you very much. Thank you.
