Heart Rhythm Tests
When your heart feels like it skips, flutters, or races, we use the right test at the right time to capture what is really happening – so you get answers and a plan.
How it works
Our electrophysiology (EP) team recommends a test based on your symptoms. You wear or complete the test, we analyze the data, and your cardiologist reviews next steps with you.
Testing options
Electrocardiogram (EKG)
A quick, in-clinic test that records your heart’s electrical activity in seconds—great for capturing issues that at the time the test is performed.
Holter Monitor
A small, wearable recorder (typically 24–48 hours) that tracks every beat to catch day-to-day rhythm changes.
Zio Patch®
A discreet, wire-free adhesive patch worn up to ~14 days. Shower-friendly, press a button if you feel symptoms, then mail it back for analysis.
Bardy CAM™ (Carnation Ambulatory Monitor)
A low-profile monitor placed over the center of the chest (similar to the Zio Patch), designed for excellent signal clarity – especially helpful for subtle rhythm patterns.
