When to Seek Help
If you have questions or concerns about your pregnancy, you may call your doctor’s office at any time. After business hours, if you have an urgent issue, an operator will contact the on-call physician. If you think you have a medical emergency, please call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.
Call your medical provider right away if you experience any of the following:
- Vaginal bleeding
- Green or foul-smelling vaginal discharge
- Excessive vomiting or inability to tolerate fluids
- Pain or burning during urination
- Persistent temperature of 101°F (38.3°C) or higher
- Leaking fluid from the vaginal area
- A Regular contraction pattern (remove s)
- Fewer than 10 baby movements in two hours (after 24 weeks gestation)
