The number of new grad RNs we accept varies by cohort; but on average, we hire about 25–30 nurses per residency program.
Availability may vary by cohort, but the following units typically accept new grad RNs:
- Acute Rehab Unit
- Cardiac Telemetry
- General Med/Surg
- Medical Oncology
- Medical Respiratory
- Post-Surgical Telemetry
- Post-Surgical/Medical
- Renal Telemetry
- Transitional Care Unit
You’ll be able to select your top three-unit preferences. While shift preferences are considered, placement is ultimately based on unit needs and availability.
A resume is required. Other documents, such as a cover letter, letters of recommendation, or a portfolio, are optional.
Yes! You’re welcome to apply before you have your RN license. However, you must have an active RN license at least two weeks prior to the start of your cohort in order to begin the program. Be sure to plan your NCLEX test date accordingly to meet this requirement.
