We are a nonprofit healthcare system that relies on fundraising from generous donors and community members. As early as the 1950s, our community recognized the need for strong basic services: schools, police, fire, local government and quality healthcare for all residents. Many people stepped forward to support community health—going door-to-door with empty coffee cans ready to collect coins. Funds they raised by working together built a hospital that attracted the outstanding physicians and nurses who care for you.

Growing a Healthcare Network
Spanning six decades, PIH Health has developed into an integrated healthcare delivery network, providing care to more than three million residents across Los Angeles and Orange Counties. Throughout this journey, our communities have demonstrated unwavering support and remarkable generosity.
The PIH Health Foundation, an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, is led by a volunteer board of directors -- community members committed to advancing quality healthcare for all. Through various programs, the PIH Health Foundation raises funds to purchase the vital tools and resources our medical professionals require to deliver exceptional care for you and your family.
