Heart-Healthy Garlic Roasted Broccoli

Grab your sheet pan and serve up this easy and enticing garlic roasted broccoli. This heart-healthy recipe is equipped with crisp-tender broccoli, crushed red pepper, and pine nuts for a wonderful pop of buttery flavor.

Ingredients 

  • 1 large bunch broccoli, cut into florets
  • 1 Tbsp olive oil
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/8 tsp crushed red pepper flakes to taste
  • 1/8 tsp salt
  • Black pepper to taste
  • 2 Tbsp pine nuts, toasted and for garnish 

How to Make Garlic Roasted Broccoli 

  • Step 1: Preheat oven to 450°
  • Step 2: In a large bowl, combine the broccoli florets, olive oil, garlic, red-pepper flakes, salt and black pepper to taste. Arrange the broccoli on a baking sheet in a single layer. Roast for about 20 minutes, or until crisp-tender. Serve warm, garnished with toasted pine nuts, if desired.
